Life takes on a new lease on life when Charles, a retired man, answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home. I’m not much of a watcher, but we devoured the entire season on the first night. It has the right mix of warmth, humor, sadness, and depth with a storyline that will keep you going. Of course Ted Danson is great, but Stephanie Beatriz (Diaz in '99) is great and her character is someone you want to spend all your time with. It’s set in San Francisco of course, which helps with my rating, but above all, it’s very sad at times, and it’s a comedy, and it gives you hope for the future as we all get a little older. I give it a solid eight out of ten, one for every age group, and who knows, maybe another season.
