This series uses material from the Great Schools of Dune trilogy, by Brian Herbert and Kevin J
Two Harkonnen sisters battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and found the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.
A prequel to the original Dune, it chronicles how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit
Anderson. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is from a so-called “Mentats of Dune.” All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors.

I’ve been eager to read Dune: Prophecy ever since I first heard about it. Then I saw the trailers and my excitement grew even more.
Well, after watching it I can say that it definitely lived up to my expectations
Your expectations have to be realistic though, if you are expecting something as perfect as the movies directed by Dennis Villeneuve then you will be disappointed, but if you are just expecting a fascinating and perfectly paced series that will keep you fully engaged in every episode then you will love it. The world building that happens and the attention to every detail is the best you can get for a TV series.
You won’t want to wait a week between episodes, it’s that good
This series is best watched continuously because I can promise that when you finish one episode you can’t wait to start the next.
